Well mostly because its not complicated, and it gives us that vibe of the first consoles we had as kids. As a game developer I can say they had a good job there developing all the different skills and animations for the character. I love how the skills are unlocked piece by piece, it really got me addicted there. I am really waiting further to see the next updates, I want some new skills to unlock. By the way, the backgrounds are very well made, congratulations to the designer, some good quality stuff there. I love the game because it brings back a lot of old memories when I used to play games like this,this is a game for the oldschool gamers or just gamers that are more into these 2d games. As it is Early Access there are some gliches and bugs to fix but by playing it you'll see how the actual gameplay is which is really good. It's a must play game if you are a oldschool gamer! :). Chamber of Darknes is platform game made by only one person that communicate with players and hes friendly thats what i like about him. But lets go to gane. You playing as knigt and your task is to kill all monsters and main boss. Main campaign can be done in hour or two because some glitches but they were fixed soo it wont ve that hard now. But dont worry about the time n the campaign there are lot of things to do. You can play challenges like survival mode and unlock speels. There are more than 10 speels in total and they are great. You can even play local multiplayer with your friends here. I think its one of the best games i played. I would recommend it to anyone. Its funny and enjoyable.. Creative, maze-like, full of traps, surprises & smart enemies game delivering 'Dark Souls' dungeon raiding vibes. The challenging platforming and smart enemies make the experience more interesting, because you never know if an enemy is going to parry your attacks and abilities, or chase you until it kills you. You can also use the environment to your advantage in battles against bosses or mobs, like using higher platforms or luring enemies into the castle traps. Dismentaling enemies can be also rewarding. From time to time any type of enemy could drop special items and potions coming in handy in many situations, like speed up, faster or instant HP regeneration and more.It's a great game and the determination I felt to defeating the 1st boss says it all!. Pretty good 2D game, easy game mechanics, still needs work but it has great potential to grow. The usage of health for combat makes it more challenging, good way to avoid spamming attacks. Personally I liked the Monster mode from the Extra modes, playing literally as the bad guy on a 2D game? Nice experience. By the way on Monster mode, you can get "out of the map", just go all the way to the left until you "fall".- I started on easy difficulty, I read other user noticing the "choose 3 abilities but only 2 are available", it seems to be for any difficulty at first.- Extra modes.
